Rail end caps are used to secure railing, pipes, or support rods within fencing. Commonly referred to as end caps, they are located at the start of fence runs and held in place using a carriage bolt and brace band. Our rail ends are made from steel that is welded and galvanized, offering superior strength and support compared to aluminum cast rail ends available at home improvement stores.

What Size Rail End Do I Need?

If you have already purchased your top rail or other post type that you will be placing into the rail end, measure the outer diameter of the rail/post to determine which size rail end will be able to receive it.

Rail ends typically range in size from 1 3/8" to 2 3/8" outer diameter pipes, with standard residential grade fencing usually 1 3/8" or 1 5/8". Commercial applications typically require a 1 5/8" pipe at minimum.
